Payment & Cancellation

New Brunswick Medicare does not cover physiotherapy services provided by private clinics.

If you have personal health insurance, a company plan, or other third party health coverage, check with your administrator to determine if and to what extent, you are covered.

You’ll find the price list for our services here.

Direct Billing:

We direct bill many but not all private insurance companies. If we are not able to direct bill your insurance company we’ll provide you with a printed receipt – complete with your practitioner’s license number – for you to submit for reimbursement.

Please Note: While you do not need a doctor’s referral to receive treatment at Sportmed, some insurance plans require you to submit a written doctor’s referral with your receipts and claim form.

Payment Options

We accept VISA, MasterCard, Debit, Cash, and Check.

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel an appointment, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can accommodate clients who are waiting to for an earlier appointment.

Do you have questions? Contact us at 506-859-4442 or use this form.

Return-to-Play Protocol

Returning to play after a concussion is a gradual process. Once all symptoms have disappeared and a doctor has given the player clearance to return to activity, the player should do so following the Return-to-Play Protocol from the Consensus Statement on Concussion in Sport, held in Zurich, November 2012.

CONCUSSIONS

There's Reason for Concern

Concussions can lead to long-term physical, cognitive and emotional health implications. If you’ve taken a blow, call our Sport Medicine Clinic at (506) 859-4442. No referral needed.
